Toronto Raptors Post-Game Anti-violence Rally

This Raptors Post-Game Rally, hosted by the voice of the Toronto Raptors, Herbie Kuhn, is an annual event to raise awareness of the violence in our community and also to motivate the youths to achieve their goals. Community leaders such as Pastor Wendell Gibbs, Reginald Tull, ex-gang member Dustin Hill, and keynote speaker Herbie Kuhn shared their stories with hundreds of young people, encouraging them to do the right thing. Prizes and gifts were given out, along with information on opportunities available for them through United Youth of Canada.

Toronto West Anti-drug Campaign

In support of Toronto West’s annual anti-drug march, we would like to thank all those who came out to protest in our 2010 campaign to fight against drugs and violence in our community. Reginald J. Tull, President of United Youth of Canada spoke to the Jamestown community about the seriousness of drugs in our city. Pastor Frankie Lazarus proclaimed a powerful and timely message prior to the anti-drug march for divine service. Overall, the march was a huge success and we thank our organizer Curtis Abrose for a job well done.
